Reader Christine let us know she spoke with one of the construction folks at the new 7-11 going in at the Carlyle Square condominiums at 502 John Carlyle Street in our neighborhood. She reports that the store should be up and running within a five (5) week timeframe.

For those of you unfamiliar with the history of this space, I have included the SUP below. You can also view our original post on this from last July.

I was over in that section of our neighborhood this morning and it looks like they have the signage up out front (see photo below).

We have sent an e-mail to the City about the Hallmark store to get a look at the Hallmark store’s S.U.P. as there is not one listed on the City’s website. Have not gotten a response yet.

Does anyone know if any other stores are coming to the neighborhood in the near future?

  5. CCN says:

Farah, there is a Foster’s Grille going in near the Alexan Carlyle on Hooff’s Run Drive in South Carlyle. Other than that and the Hallmark store listed above, there’s nothing right now.

There is a AAA office coming soon at the corner of Eisenhower and Mill Rd. Also, Yves’ Bistro is now open in the former Bread and Chocolate over at the Hoffman Town Center.
